A Lothian man was charged with first-degree attempted murder after police said he stabbed another man multiple times following an argument on Sands Road last Saturday. Police charged Jerome Otto Waters, 55, of the 5200 block of Sands Road in Lothian, with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. Seventeen athletes from South River High recently announced their intentions to play for specific athletic programs at the collegiate level.
