Upper Marlboro Man Injured in Deale Boating Accident
Charles Todd Mitchell was cited by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources in connection with the incident.

A man was injured in Deale late Saturday evening when his boat crashed into a jetty near Rockhold Creek, reported The Capital Gazette.
Charles Todd Mitchell, 44, of Upper Marlboro was cited for traveling at a speed greater than responsible, negligent operation and not having a proper lookout, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police told The Capital Gazette.
Mitchell said he felt his 24-foot Regal bump into something, and then crashed into the jetty, according to the report. He was taken to Anne Arundel County Medical Center where he was treated for complaints of neck and back pain.
Mitchell was traveling alone in the boat, and no other injuries were reported. The boat reportedly sustained major damage as a result of the crash.
