US Naval Academy Band - Navy's Birthday Celebration
When: Monday
Where: Lawyer's Mall - MD Statehouse, 100 State Circle, Annapolis
Details: At 4:00 p.m. the marching band will march down Maryland Avenue, beginning at Gate 3 of the Naval Academy, and proceed to State Circle. At 4:45 p.m. the Ceremonial Band will present a patriotic concert at Lawyer’s Mall on State Circle.

Anne Arundel Public Water Access Committee Meeting
When: Wednesay

Details: Discussion of the status of each of the access locations identified during field visits this summer. Presentation of a map and concept for a water trail linking multiple water access locations.

Mental Health Series: You Are Not Alone in this Fight

Details: Dr. Mark Komrad, from Johns Hopkins University Hospital and Clinical Ethics Director at Sheppard Pratt, will present material from his book: You Need Help!: A Step-by-Step Plan to Convince a Loved One to Get Counseling. A Q&A and book signing will follow the lecture.

Sugarloaf Crafts Festival
When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Where: Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 16 Chestnut St., Gaithersburg
Details: Now in its 39th year, the Festival invites art enthusiasts to meet the jury-selected artists and purchase unique items in functional and decorative pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, leather, wood, metal, furniture, home accessories, photography and fine art.
