  • Two Rivers Harvest AuctionDon't miss this fun, fall party to benefit West/Rhode Riverkeeper. Food, music, friends, and the excitement of getting a great deal on a fabulous auction item—to give as a gift or keep for yourself. Enjoy gourmet food by Whole Foods of Annapolis and live music by world-renown jazz musicians the Rob Levit Trio.
  • Glenn McCall Legacy RideMotorcycle Ride and Poker Run benefiting The McCall Education Fund. The ride starts at the Rod & Reel and heads south to The Green Turtle, Stoney’s, Monterey Restaurant and Cantina, Ruddy Duck Brewery & Grill and ends back at Rod & Reel around 3 p.m. Best hand wins overnight getaway St. George Island Inn & Suites.
  • South River Fall Foliage Kaya Sojourn and Picnic—Join us on Saturday for a kayak trip in and around Beard’s Creek. Enjoy a morning out on one of the creeks of the South River to admire the wildlife and the change of colors. Graciously hosted by Katie and David Burns and Annapolis Landing Homeowners Association, the kayak trip will launch from their community pier. We will meet at 10:00 a.m. and after enjoying a hot cup of coffee, we will launch and explore the upper areas of Beards Creek, which is not always seen from boat due to the shallowness of the water. 
  • Lost Dog!—A local man lost his dog and described the pooch as a redbone coon-hound, vishla mix. The dog is not very big for his breed and his name is Boone. His fur is a golden brownish-red and is very friendly. If you approach him he might run away though. Anyone with info on the dog should contact 443-994-4191, 443-994-4350 or 443-994-4441. He was last seen around the Safeway in Edgewater.
  • DOOMSDAY ASYLUM 2012 Haunted House—The all-new Doomsday Asylum 2012 Haunted House presented by Tulip Gulch Productions returns to Prince George's Stadium this October! Show is INDOORS and the wait area is outside but under cover. Haunted House is rain or shine. Stadium gates open at 6:30 p.m. and haunted house starts at sundown. Runs Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 27, then during Halloween week: Oct. 29-31.
  • Spay Spa & Neuter Nook is Now Open—Rude Ranch Animal Rescue is proud to announce The Spay Spa & Neuter Nook, a high-quality, low cost spay and neuter clinic is open. It is located at 1251 West Central Ave,, in Davidsonville. It is staffed by experienced surgical veterinarians that will give pets the best care and attention during their procedures.
