Annie The Musical To Be Performed By September Song
Show dates set for late July, early August at Winters Mill High School.

September Song Musical Theatre is getting ready to put a smile on everyone’s face--after all, you’re never fully dressed without one--during its upcoming production of Annie.
Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the Carroll Arts Center for $15 before the show dates. They can also be purchased at the show for $18. Groups of 10 or more can buy discounted tickets for $12. Admission for children and students is $8.

Leading the cast will be Sophie Stromberg as Annie and Jim Gross as Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks.
Stromberg has performed in several shows with the Carroll Arts Center, playing the title role in Thumbelina. With September Song, Stromberg most recently played a munchkin in last year’s The Wizard of Oz. She attends St. John School in Westminster.

Gross has been a member of the musical theatre company since 1999 when he played Conrad Birdie in Bye, Bye Birdie. He also performed as Professor Harold Hill the 2004 production of The Music Man and Colonel Pickering in the 2005 production of My Fair Lady.
The show will be produced by Joan Eichhorn and directed by Amy Appleby, who was also the assistant director and choreographer for The Wizard of Oz.
This is September Song’s second production of Annie since the musical theatre company was formed in 1974. The first production of Annie was in 1998.
