There's nothing like a cool treat on a ridiculously hot summer day.
Victor's Italian Ice, 6112 Old Bartholow Rd in Eldersburg, is offering up some tasty options that include Italian ice, gelato and hand-dipped ice cream.
The colorful treat stand has at least 15 flavors including mint chocolate chip, cherry, pineapple, mango, chocolate, root beer, lemon, lime, vanilla bean, black rasberry and cookies 'n cream. The flavor of the week is pear.
Owner Eric Ritchie, a Liberty High School graduate, said customers like mixing flavors. For example, mixing peach and mango gelato with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is tasty, Ritchie said.
