Celtic rock group Gaelic Mishap to perform at the Carroll Arts Center
This is not your mother’s Irish band. Baltimore-area Celtic rock band, Gaelic Mishap, will put on a rollicking concert of old favorites and modern hits to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Friday, March 11 at 8pm at the Carroll Arts Center.
Formed in 2010, Gaelic Mishap features seven musicians who span generations, each bringing a unique musical influence to popular traditional and contemporary Irish music. The band takes pride in their ability to entertain a diverse fan base from family friendly festivals to the rowdy pubs of Baltimore where Irish music thrives. Effortlessly blending the fiddle, guitar, bass, harmonica, bodhran, and drums with unsurpassed vocals, their show is sure to get audiences in the Irish spirit!
Gaelic Mishap's popularity is quickly rising, having performed at the Hamilton in DC, the Mid-Maryland Celtic Festival, the Philadelphia Fleadh Festival, a number of times at the nationally renowned Shamrockfest in DC, and many other east coast festivals and pubs. They’re also a regular act at Mick O’Shea’s Irish pub in Baltimore.
Tickets are $26 Adults / $22 ages 25 & Under and ages 60 & Up. CCAC Members get an additional 10% off. Tickets can be purchased online at CarrollCountyArtsCouncil.org or by calling the box office at 410-848-7272. The Carroll Arts Center is located at 91 West Main Street in Downtown Westminster.
