Higher Temps, Spring Showers in Sykesville this Week
Here's the week's forecast courtesy of the National Weather Service.

If you put away your sweaters in a fit of spring-cleaning, you may want to dig one out, the National Weather Service is forecasting a nearly 30-degree spread between high temperatures this week.
An umbrella, however, will be helpful all week long.
Expect patchy fog Monday before 10 a.m., then there’s a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures should reach the low-70s during the day, and drop to the high-50s at night.

More fog is in Tuesday’s forecast before 9 a.m. There's a 20 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after 9 a.m., otherwise expect partly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid-70s. There’s also a 20 percent chance of rain Tuesday night, when temperatures drop to the low-50s.
Temperatures are expected to hit the high-70s Wednesday, under partly sunny skies. Wednesday night temperatures drop to the low-60s.

There is a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms and showers all day and night Thursday. Skies will be cloudy and temperatures will reach the mid-70s during the day, dropping to the mid-50s at night.
A 60 percent chance of rain is in Friday’s forecast. Temperatures will reach just the high-50s during the day and drop to the high-30s at night.
Saturday should be mostly sunny, but chilly with high temperatures in the mid-50s.
