Man Assaulted, Robbed in Elkridge: Crime Roundup

Robbery

A man coming from a check cashing business was being driven by an acquaintance when he was dropped off at his home. Shortly after, another vehicle pulled up and a passenger got out. The passenger and driver of the car assaulted the man and took his wallet, cell phone and keys, then drove off. The incident occurred in the 6700 block of Pirch Way around 5 p.m. on May 15.

Two men approached a woman. One displayed a gun and demanded the woman's vehicle. The woman told the men the vehicle was equipped with a Lo-Jack tracking device and then the men demanded her wallet and cell phone, which she gave them. The incident happened near the intersection of Murray Hill Road and Rainflower Way on May 14 at about midnight. Police described the robbers as follows:

  • Male, 25 - 30 years old, about 5-foot-6 wearing black pants and a red hoodie.
  • Black male, 25 - 30 years old, taller than 5-foot-6, 140 pounds, wearing blue jeans and a gray and red hoodie.

Residential burglary

Someone stole an iPad, camera and video game system from a residence in the 9400 block of Falling Waters sometime on May 15. A garage and interior door were found unsecured.

Columbia

Residential burglary

Someone entered a detached garage and stole a woman's purse from an unlocked vehicle. Two video game systems were stolen from inside the house after someone entry through an unlocked slider sometime overnight on May 8 - 9 in the 6800 block of Carlinda Ave.
