Man Found Dead In Room At Econo Lodge, Foul Play Suspected: Howard County Police

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Howard County police are investigating a suspected homicide at a hotel in the 5800 block of Bonnie View Lane in Elkridge. Police were called around 8 a.m. for a report of a man found dead inside a room at the Econo Lodge.

Investigators suspect foul play but the cause of death is unknown at this time, the police department stated in a news release. Police do not believe this was a random incident and have taken a person into custody. Possible charges have yet to be determined. Additional information will be released by the police department as it becomes available.
