  • Description:  Music fans and audio enthusiasts around the Beltway are invited to this summer Ultra Series Speakers event debuting for the first time locally at Capital Audiofest in the Sheraton Hotel, Silver Spring.

Farm Animal Craft Weekend

  • Where:  Clarks’s Elioak Farm

Actor's Express

  • Where:  The Drama Learning Center, 9130-I Red Branch Rd. Columbia
  • When:  Saturday, July 27, 11 p.m.
  • Description:  Professional Acting coach, Director, Producer offering acting workshops for ages 9-15.

First Place Singles Walk/Lunch

  • Where:  Sonama's Bar & Grill, 7284 Cradlerock Way, Columbia
  • When:  Sunday, July 28, 12 p.m.
  • Description:  Join First Place Singles, a social group for singles 40+ for a walk around Lake Elkhorn followed by lunch at 1 pm.  Meet in front of Sonoma's at 12 pm.

Beer & Fear

  • Where:  Terrapin Adventures
  • When:  Sunday, July 28, 3 p.m.
  • Description:  Spend two hours taking the Terrapin Challenge. Scale the 43' tower, traverse all 18 crossings on our High Ropes Challenge Course, glide through the forest on our 330' zip line and experience 2G's of force on our Giant Swing. Then reward yourself with a mouth-watering menu choice of six entrees paired with hearty samples of six different Rams Head Tavern Beers or house wine.

Colonial Craft Day at the Mount Clare Museum House Stable

  • Where:  Mount Clare Museum House, 1500 Washington Blvd., Baltimore
  • When:  Saturday, July 27, 10 a.m.
  • Description:  Craft Day at Mount Clare Stable in Carroll Park.  Participants will learn how to write a letter with a quill pen, make a clothes pin doll, 
    assemble a lantern and even try to master the skill of colonial stitchery. In 
    addition to making crafts, colonial artisans will be on site to demonstrate 
    Theorem Painting and spinning.  Live colonial music provided throughout the day.
