2023 Police Pace Planned For Sept. 10 At Centennial Park In Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The 2023 Police Pace will take place Sept. 10 at 8 a.m. at Centennial Park in Ellicott City.

Hosted by the Howard County Police Foundation, this annual 5K, 10K and 1 mile race will help raise funds for initiatives and programs carried out by the police department that cannot be met through the county budget, including:

• Scholarships for officers pursuing advanced degrees
• Purchase of state-of-the-art equipment
• Youth programs including summer leadership camps and sports programs
• Support for health and wellness initiatives
• Community outreach programs
