25 Carson Scholars Recognized From Howard County Public School System
The Howard County Public School System has 25 students named Carson Scholars this year.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Twenty-five HCPSS students have been recognized as 2025 Carson Scholars, including five first-time Scholars and 20 recognized scholars.
The Carson Scholars program is open to all students in grades 4th through 11th in the United States. Students must have a grade point average of 3.75 or above on a 4.0 scale. They also must demonstrate humanitarian values through community service, according to the program.
First-time Carson Scholars receive a monetary college scholarship. Recognized Carson Scholars have previously been awarded a Carson scholarship, maintained high academic standards and continued to show strong commitment to their communities.
