3 Teens Arrested For Vehicle Thefts, Suspects Sought In ATV Thefts From Park Shop: Police

Three teens have been arrested in a string of vehicle thefts while police continue to search for the suspects connected to ATV thefts.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — An ongoing investigation into a string of vehicle thefts has prompted Howard County Police to arrest three teens.

According to the Howard County Police Department, the 16-year-old boys face a range of charges in connection to the vehicle thefts, including auto theft, weapons violations and ammunition possession.

"Investigators remain committed to identifying and arresting anyone committing criminal acts in Howard County, whether juveniles or adults. Our goal continues to be keeping the community safe and helping our residents feel safe," the police department stated.

Police also continue to search for the suspects who broke into the maintenance shop at Blandair Park, located in the 5700 block of Oakland Mills Road in Columbia, and stole ATVs. The suspects broke into the building by cutting the locks sometime June 3-4 and June 5-6 in the overnight hours. Property also was damaged, the police department reported.
