$63K Winning Lotto Ticket Bought At Columbia Grocery Store

A shopper at the Wegman's in Columbia bought a lotto ticket worth more than $63K that remains unclaimed.

COLUMBIA, MD — A quick trip to the grocery store ended up netting a customer more than $63,000. However, that customer has yet to redeem that winning ticket.

The shopper bought a $3 Fast Play Slingo ticket at the Wegman’s store located at 8855 McGaw Road in Columbia. The progressive jackpot was worth $68,280.71. Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location. The player has 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize.

The Howard County retailer receives a $682.81 bonus for selling the ticket, equal to 1% of the prize value.
