HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.

Petunia happens to be a 10-month-old female Holland Lop/Lionhead mix who is described as sweet and curious. She is a small gal weighing only 4.5 pounds, but is a sweet girl and is used to being around people. Petunia prefers to follow her human around and check out what you are doing. She loves to play inside cardboard boxes and delights in being surprised by a hidden treat in there. If you are looking for a beautiful, sweet companion, she is your girl.

Mocha is a beautiful female 1-year-old Siberian husky who only weighs 42 pounds. With her beautiful deep red coloring, Mocha has an adorable friendly personality to match. She is described as very active, playful and goofy. She also is quite smart and will follow a couple of commands for a treat. Mocha is hoping to find someone with a large yard for exploring or someone with an active lifestyle for hiking or walks as she gets bored if she is alone too long. She also needs to be taken outside to potty often to help her learn your schedule in your home. Mocha is still a puppy and is accustomed to waiting in her crate when left alone. Mocha lived with children and got along well with them; however, she can become nervous in certain situations and may do better in a home with older children who understand how to respectfully interact with her. Mocha’s favorite game is to play fetch with a ball. She enjoys riding in the car and going to new places.
