Advisory: Expect Lane Closures During Stream Restoration

Drivers should expect partial lane closures on East Leisure Court later this month as the county begins repairing an eroding stream on Dower Drive.

The project will include grading and stabilizing the bank of the stream with stone and vegetation to fight erosion. Some pavement at the end of Dower drive will also be transformed into a vegetative area.

The project is expected to begin on Monday, Jan. 28 and is scheduled to be completed by June.

Crews will need to partially close lanes on East Leisure Court while they install a storm drain pipe. Drivers should also expect flaggers directing traffic along the road and signage advising that construction is underway.
