Bridge Maintenance Will Require Lane Closure, Officials Say

HANOVER, MD — Drivers should anticipate a lane closure along Park Circle Drive for preventative bridge maintenance that will start Sept. 8.

The project is part of the county’s Rehabilitation of Nine Bridge Structures Project funded under the Federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act program.

The affected stretch of road along Park Circle Drive spans Deep Run near Coca Cola Drive. Weather permitting, the project should wrap up by early October 2025.

Signs will be posted to alert drivers and residents of the work since the two westbound travel lanes within the project limits will be reduced to one lane for the duration of the project. All eastbound travel lanes will remain open.
