Callie, Balencia, Gumball, Lollipop: Adorable Adoptable Pets Of The Week In Howard County
These pets are searching for their forever homes. They are currently at the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.
Jannis arrived at the shelter as a stray, so it's unknown how she'll do in a home with other cats or dogs. She would do best in a home where the children are older and can respect her space. At age three, Jannis is still quite curious and loves to explore bookshelves and other spaces.

At age four, Callie happens to be shy but quite lovable. In her previous home, Callie lived with another cat and they got along terrifically. She also needs a quieter home where children are older and can respect her need for space.

Inky is an incredibly sweet 8-week-old kitten who loves to frolic with the other kittens at the shelter. He can't wait to find a family of his, preferably one with another young cat he can play with.

Lollipop and Gumball are just as sweet as their names. These two female guinea pigs are bonded and need to be adopted together. Lollipop is vocal and friendly, while Gumball is more reserved but will warm up quickly to people. Their previous owners lost interest in them, so these two hope to find a forever home.

Beautiful Balencia arrived at the shelter as a stray, but at 5 months old, she's absolutely adorable and engaging. She will need a slow introduction to pets and children in her new home.

Elvira loves to play and climb. This sweet and friendly girl is 6 months old and already independent. She'll need a slow introduction to the pets in her new home, too.

Always affectionate, 6-year-old Zoey lived with another cat and a dog at her previous home. This beautiful girl has never lived with children, so she would do best in a home with older kids that will respect her space.

Dev loves to play with people and toys, and is an all-round busy and active little guy. He would love to have another gentle kitty to play with and since he can be nervous at first in new situations, would need some time to adjust to a new home and a new family. He'll do best in either an adult home or a home with older children who know how to be gentle with him.

Always on the go, friendly Sue loves to run and play. She'll climb up your leg and jump in your arms to grab your attention. This energetic little lady does tend to play rough and will need to be monitored around other children and pets. She'd pair terrifically with another cat that loves to play the same well. She'd also do best in either an adult home or one with older children who understand how to interact with her using toys.

For more information about adopting these adorable critters or any others currently at the center, call 410-313-2780 or visit the center's site on PetFinder or its Facebook page. The shelter has resumed normal operating hours.
