HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.

Cute Citrine loves to run and play with the other kittens. She's silly, playful and super sweet.

Jerry, who is on the left, and his buddy Sara are taking a break from playtime. They're ready to head to a forever home, too.

Three-year-old Cougar is mellow and sweet. He'll rub on you when he's ready for some attention and pets. He prefers quiet, gentle people but will get excited when presented with a string toy to chase.

Carmel, a 1-year-old male guinea pig, enjoys running from tunnels to his wooden sleeping box. He feels safe hiding in his box and loves to dig through his timothy hay to find hidden carrot pieces.

Another guinea pig named Mr. Honey actually enjoy being wrapped in a blanket and sitting with his owner while nibbling on kale. At 1 year old, he would enjoy having a buddy guinea pig to hang with.

Another 1-year-old guinea pig, Snickers, allows people to hold him. He also likes to play with his hanging jingle bell toy.

A total sweetheart, Gordon will purr and "make biscuits" the moment he meets you. He'll rub on you to get attention and enjoys cuddling in a soft bed. While he does have a slight sight impairment on one eye, he has no problems getting around.

Franky loves being a lap cat and snuggling. This 10-year-old neutered male is quite gentle but also enjoys playtime and chasing strings. His personality is tons of fun to be around.

Shelter staff are stunned that sweet Sara has been at the shelter since April. She's a sweet girl and very kind hearted.

Cotton Ball the bunny boasts the sweetest personality. She was found abandoned and all alone in someone's yard. She's approximately 1 year old and enjoys exploring during exercise time. She prefers gentle people and enjoys the company of other bunnies.

Ozzie happens to be a sweet guinea pig who will sit still while you pet her. She uses a litter box in her cage and likes to snack on a piece of carrot or celery as a teat. She's 1 year old and quite friendly.

Skipper and Gilligan are bonded brothers. These guinea pigs enjoy rummaging through timothy hay to find hidden treats and zooming through tunnels and playing inside cardboard boxes. They're only 9 months old and will sit still while you pet them.

Pumpkin and Patches are tiny 3-month-old baby guinea pigs who are playful and energetic. These two boys are buddies and looking for a home together. They enjoy running through tunnels and sleeping in wooden boxes.
