Columbia Resident, Leader At Johns Hopkins Named To Maryland’s Top 100 Women 2024 List
A Columbia resident and leader at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center has been named to Maryland's Top 100 Women 2024 list.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Theresa Forgét, vice president of human resources for Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, has been named to the 2024 list of Maryland’s Top 100 Women compiled by The Daily Record.
The list recognizes achievements attained by women through their professional accomplishments, community leadership and mentoring.
“This is such a well-deserved recognition,” Shafeeq Ahmed, president of Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, said in a statement. “Theresa is an amazing leader and we are lucky to have her on our team.”

Forgét leads human resources activities for Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center. She also advances the hospital’s strategic efforts to attract, engage, develop and retain top talent to fulfill the hospital’s mission of providing an excellent patient experience.
Among her community service activities, Forgét volunteers as a court appointed special advocate for Voices for Children Howard County; serves on the Leadership Committee for The Arc of Howard County; and is a member of the Board to Promote Self Sufficiency for the Howard County government and the board of directors for Leadership Howard County.

Forgét has a bachelor of science degree from Sacred Heart University and a master of arts degree from New York University. She is a 2023 Premier graduate of Leadership Howard County. She lives in Columbia.
