Cop, Suspect Identified In Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting
The cop and suspect involved in Monday's officer-involved shooting have been identified, according to the MD Office of the Attorney General.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Independent Investigations Division of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General has identified the man and Howard County Police Department officer involved in the fatal officer-involved shooting that happened Monday in Columbia.
The decedent has been identified as 23-year-old Micah Booker of Columbia.
The involved police officer has been identified as Howard County Police Officer Michael McKee, a 2-year veteran of the department, assigned to the field operations command.

According to the Howard County Police Department, Booker repeatedly stabbed his brother, Samuel Louie Booker IV, 26, of Columbia, with a 30-inch-long spear inside a home in the area of Carters Lane and Oakland Mills Road June 9, police reported. Samuel Booker was taken to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in critical condition. Micah Booker called police to say he stabbed his brother, according to police.
