Eggspectation Whips Up Breakfast, Brunch Menu At New Howard County Location
With its expansion breakfast and brunch menu, eggspectation will open in downtown Columbia next summer.

COLUMBIA, MD — Eggspectation, an international eatery with a brunch concept, will be opening in Columbia at the Merriweather District the summer of 2024.
The new 5,600-square-foot eggspectation restaurant in Columbia will offer a menu brimming with breakfast and brunch classics like omelets and pancakes to crepes along with comfort foods like gourmet burgers, pastas, seafood, salads, tacos, steaks and more. Vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan options will be available. There also will be outdoor patio seating.

Eggspectation had a location in Ellicott City that closed earlier this year, along with spots in Gambrills, Owings Mills and Timonium.
Downtown Columbia’s mix of restaurant offerings includes favorites like Peter Chang, Banditos Tacos & Tequila, Toastique, Busboys and Poets, The Charmery, Dok Khao Thai Eatery, Clove and Cardamom and The Food Market.

These restaurants soon will be joined by Medium Rare, Smashing Grapes and Bark Social.
