Ellicott City Break-in: Howard County Crime Roundup

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Ellicott City: Commercial Break-In Attempt

Between 6 p.m. on Sept. 27 and 7:15 a.m. the following day, an unknown number of suspects attempted to pry open the rear door of Meineke Discount Mufflers, on the 3400 block of North Chatham Road, but failed to gain entry.

Columbia: Break-In

Shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 28, an unknown number of suspects broke a front window and entered a residence on the 9500 block of Oakhurst Drive. Police said it is unknown whether anything was stolen.

Columbia: Indecent Exposure

Shortly after 11 a.m. on Sept. 28, a victim near the 7500 block of Rain Flower Way observed an unknown suspect exposing himself. The suspect fled upon discovery.

Laurel: Break-In

Between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sept. 28, an unknown number of suspects entered the access panel into a mobile home on Alma Avenue, stealing guns, a GPS unit and DVDs.

Laurel: Break-In

Between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Sept. 27, an unknown number of suspects kicked in the front door of a residence on the 9700 block of Covered Wagon Drive and stole a video game system.

Laurel: Break-In

Between 12:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Sept. 27, a known suspect entered a residence on the 9600 block of Covered Wagon Drive without permission, stealing jewelry and clothing.

Jessup: Break-In

Shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 28, an unknown number of suspects entered the fenced in area of a residence on the property of a residence on the 8000 block of Washington Boulevard and stole a dryer.
