Fiona, Miss Pixie: Adorable Adoptables Of The Week In Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Three-year-old Fiona happens to be 70 pounds of love and sweetness. She's gentle with children and plays well with non-challenging dogs. She's energetic and loves being with her people. She hesitates a bit when meeting new people but quickly warms up. She will need someone familiar with training dogs past sit, down, come, stay, go potty and go for a walk. She happens to be quite smart and does well in training, enjoys car rides and going for walks. She'd love a canine playmate in her new home.

Miss Pixie is a sweet, social, 8-year-old cat who looks like a British shorthair mix. She is a small, calm kitty who enjoys walking around to explore window sills and shelves. There are times that she is uncomfortable with being handled, but mostly she is affectionate and will rub on your legs to say hi. Miss Pixie has a cute meow and talks to you when she greets you. She prefers having someone near her who is gentle. Could she be a good fit for your home?
