HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The annual Howard County Restaurant & Craft Beverages Weeks has kicked off with numerous specials at participating establishments from Aug. 12-25. More than 35 locations are involved and Howard County has partnered with iHeart Radio to give away gift cards to participating restaurants via online drawings with radio stations Z104.3 Baltimore's #1 Hit Music Station, 93.1 WPOC - Today's Best Country and 102.7 JACK-FM - Playing What We Want for Baltimore.

"Summer Restaurant and Craft Beverages Weeks is a great opportunity to explore all that Howard County’s culinary scene has to offer. From fresh Hawaiian dishes to Korean barbeque and French cuisine, everyone can find a meal that satisfies their palate among our diverse collection of restaurants. By participating in Restaurant and Craft Beverages Weeks, you are also contributing to our sense of community as we all support our local businesses and entrepreneurs," said Howard County Executive Calvin Ball at an event kicking off the special week.

“As a locally owned, family-run, small business, we always participate and appreciate Howard County’s Restaurant Weeks,” added Tricia Hudson, co-owner of Hudson Coastal Raw Bar & Grille and board chair of Visit Howard County. “This is an opportunity to sample the culinary dishes from our county’s small businesses that are the backbone of our economy. Food enthusiasts can discover local gems from downtown Columbia to the smaller tucked in spaces like Highland, Maple Lawn and Glenwood. The late summer months are a great time to enjoy fresh fish, refreshing crushes and delicious sun-ripened tomatoes. Your dining adventure through Howard County will show that we are an area full of great restaurants with excellent service that will bring you back again and again."
