Ida, Fiona: Adorable Adoptables Of The Week In Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.

Ida arrived at the shelter as a stray and when her owner was found, the owner didn't want to pick her up and take her home. Beautiful Ida has been described by her foster mom as playful, sweet and active. This 5-year-old gal loves to play fetch with anything, knows basic commands and isn't destructive. A German shepherd, Ida is ready to find her forever home.

Three-year-old Fiona happens to be 70 pounds of love and sweetness. She's gentle with children and plays well with non-challenging dogs. She's energetic and loves being with her people. She hesitates a bit when meeting new people but quickly warms up. She will need someone familiar with training dogs past sit, down, come, stay, go potty and go for a walk. She happens to be quite smart and does well in training, enjoys car rides and going for walks. She'd love a canine playmate in her new home.
