Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Jennifer is the most dedicated teacher I know. She is at school above and beyond the normal work day. She goes the extra mile for her students. I have another daughter who is an engineer for Caterpillar out in Peoria, Ill. She makes about twice the salary as Jenn and works less hours. They are both dedicated women in their chosen profession. Jenn has been a teacher for almost 20 years. We are very proud of her. She is a wife, mother and a wonderful teacher. She said she wanted to be a teacher since she was in 2nd grade. She used to “play school” with the neighborhood kids. Such a great and caring teacher is what Jennifer is.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She works many, many hours to give her students the best education they can get.
