Man Robbed At Knifepoint By 2 Acquaintances In Columbia: HCPD

A man reported being robbed at knifepoint by two people he knew on Monday afternoon, according to the Howard County Police Department.

COLUMBIA, MD — A man reported being approached by two people he knew Monday afternoon who then assaulted him, pulled out a knife and stole cash before taking off.

According to the Howard County Police Department, the incident happened Jan. 13 at 1:50 p.m. in the 5800 block of Robert Oliver Place. No serious injuries were reported.

Police found the two suspects and arrested them. German Acosta-Garcia, 31, of Columbia, has been charged with armed robbery and assault. Charges are pending against the second suspect, the police department stated.
