Man Seen Walking With Gun Arrested In Connection To Shooting: HCPD

A man spotted walking with a gun has been arrested in connection to a report of shots fired without injuries or property damage, police say.

On Feb. 18, Howard County Police were called to Harpers Farm Road and Beaverkill Road around 12:25 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Officers later found several shell casings at the scene. The man they believed to be the suspect was later seen in town.

COLUMBIA, MD — The suspect wanted in connection to a report of shots fired in Columbia without injuries has been arrested.

On Feb. 18, Howard County Police were called to Harpers Farm Road and Beaverkill Road around 12:25 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Officers later found several shell casings at the scene. During the investigation, officers were provided video of a man carrying a gun walking along Harpers Farm Road carrying a gun who they believe was the suspect. An individual saw this same suspect later in the community and reported him to police. He has since been arrested, according to Howard County Police.

No one was injured and no property was reported as damaged.
