On Friday through Sunday, the high temperature should be in the 40s, but the cold will return Sunday night, along with another chance of snow.

A clipper-style storm will spread snow from the Midwest to the central Appalachians Wednesday evening to Thursday night, AccuWeather predicts. Intermittent snow that can coat the ground will fall east of the Appalachians to parts of Interstate 95 in the mid-Atlantic from Thursday afternoon to Thursday night.

A second storm will bring rain along the mid-Atlantic coast to southeastern New England on Saturday. However, due to cold ground temperatures, there may be spotty ice in parts of the Appalachians and Piedmont areas from Friday night to Saturday, according to AccuWeather.
