Howard County MedFit Specialist Helps Residents Get Healthier
A MedFit specialist in Howard County offers virtual sessions to help clients achieve their health goals.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — After working as a certified personal trainer and nutritionist for years, Howard County resident Jill L. Kitko Bernard decided to join the MedFit Network in 2021 to help educate and promote healthy behaviors among Marylanders.
The MedFit Network serves as both a professional membership organization for fitness and allied healthcare professionals, gyms, studios and integrative wellness centers, and students, as well as functions as a free online resource directory for the community to find fitness and allied healthcare professionals with a background in prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of diseases and underlying conditions.
As a MedFit specialist, Kitko Bernard told Patch that her goal is to help individuals reach their wellness goals in an environment in which they feel comfortable. She focuses on - but isn't limited to - personal training, nutrition counseling, osteoporosis, menopause and post rehab services. Kitko Bernard said she creates individualized health and wellness programs for clients to help them achieve their goals.
