HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Krinkles hopes to find his forever home this holiday season. The shelter describes him as calm, laid back and friendly with a sweet personality. He enjoys hanging out with gentle people and is pretty tolerant of others. He's neutered and estimated to be 6 or 7 years old. He earned his name from his adorably crinkled ear. His curiosity is endearing and he likes to rub on your legs to say hello and seek attention.

Noel loves life and is an exuberant puppy. She weighs approximately 20 pounds and is highly food motivated. She enjoys training and if you have a treat, she's your best friend. At 1 year old, she's already spayed and can't wait to find a buddy to go on adventures with. She loves to talk long walks and sniff all the smells. As a beagle/Boston terrier mix, Noel loves to run and bounce around and can't wait for an active owner or family to adopt her.

Described as a gentle soul, Atlas has stolen the hearts of everyone at the shelter. He's 10 years old and weighs in at 105 pounds. As a neutered English mastiff mix, this sweet boy got along wonderfully with children, a dog and a cat in the past. He enjoys playing tug of war but truly wants to just cuddle, especially in your bed. A laid back fella, he enjoys interacting with other calm dogs and knows commands such as sit, leave it, go to bed and bathroom. He likes car rides, too.

This beautiful laid back brown tabby named Venti has a lovely and calm demeanor. She's curious, friendly and loves to be with her humans. She's also affectionate and will rub on you for attention. Venti is estimated to be 4 years old and loves looking out the window and exploring. She's extra special with her extra toes, too.

Casey and Pete are brothers from the same litter. At 1 year, they have stunning eye colors with endearing personalities. Once they know you, they'll follow you around and ask for attention. They'll even meow when you talk to them. If you're looking for two buddies who get along beautifully and just want to be loved, look no further than this pair.

Titan loves running around the yard and playing with other dogs. At 11 months old, this Australian shepherd/Bernese Mountain mix will need some basic training classes so he walks better on the leash; he's pretty strong and tends to pull. He can be sensitive to sounds and new people, but with a little bit of time to warm up, Titan will pull out of his shell. He used to live with children and attend a doggy day care, and will wait in his crate while his family is gone. He hasn't been around cats, so it isn't sure how he'll do with them. He will follow commands for a treat and loves to play with toys. He also rides well in the car, too.
