Nominations Accepted For Community Sports Hall Of Fame By April 15

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Department of Recreation & Parks is seeking nominations for its 2025 “Community Sports Hall of Fame,” which recognizes individuals who have gained prominence in or made substantial contributions to community recreational sports in Howard County.

The nomination deadline falls on April 15.

Coaches, managers, league officials, commissioners and even behind-the-scenes contributors closely identified with community recreational sports can be nominated. Nominees must be either residents of Howard County or made their community sports contributions primarily in Howard County.

A hardcopy can be requested by calling Recreation & Parks at 410-313-4706. All completed nomination forms must be delivered or postmarked by April 15 to: Howard County Community Sports Hall of Fame, 7120 Oakland Mills Road, Columbia, MD 21046 or emailed to Ricky DuBois at rdubois@howardcountymd.gov.
