Old Columbia Pike Will Be Closed For Water Main Project In Howard County
A water main replacement project along Old Columbia Pike will prompt a road closure through August.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Starting Monday at 9 a.m., Old Columbia Pike from Tollhouse Road to Main Street in Ellicott City will be closed to all through traffic as part of an ongoing water main replacement project along Old Columbia Pike.
Only local traffic and emergency vehicles will be permitted to access the area during this time.
Drivers will follow a clearly marked detour using Old Columbia Pike, Main Street, Frederick Road and Tollhouse Road.

Weather permitting, this section of Old Columbia Pike should reopen on or about Aug. 7 and the water main replacement project should be completed by late August 2024.
