Ravens Football Team In Elkridge For CPR Class With Firefighters
Members of the Ravens football team were at a local fire station for a league-wide day of volunteerism to learn CPR.
ELKRIDGE, MD — Players from the Baltimore Ravens stopped by the Elkridge Volunteer Fire Station to learn CPR and engaged in a league-wide day of volunteerism for the “Huddle for 100” campaign.
Howard County Executive Calvin Ball greeted the United Way of Central Maryland and players. The Ravens participated in the community CPR class hosted by Howard County at the fire station and a pair of tickets to a Ravens home game were given away. One lucky volunteer at a Maryland community site will win a Super Bowl LIV Experience in Miami.
“United Way and our Baltimore Ravens are setting a positive example of community service with their biggest campaign yet. Howard County is proud to partner in their efforts and to welcome them to our Elkridge Fire Station on Monday,” said Ball in a statement. “Our team gives us a reason to come together every Sunday. Now, we are uniting behind an even bigger cause, getting involved to better our community.”
