White Marlin Nets $267K For Ellicott City Angler In Tournament

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — An angler from Ellicott City netted more than just a 91-pound white marlin in an Ocean City fishing tournament. Bill Keller earned $267,085 for snagging the fish from his boat Blood Money. It was the fifth fish caught weighing more than 90 pounds in tournament history.
Organizers of the 29th annual big-game MidAtlantic fishing tournament told The Press of Atlantic City that it paid out more than $4 million to winning anglers. The tournament, based at Canyon Club Resort Marina in Cape May and at Sunset Marina in Ocean City, Md., was held last week.
