Woodstock Road Retaining Wall Replacement to Begin

The road will be shut down to make repairs and replace a collapsing wall.

Howard County project to replace a collapsed retaining wall approximately 1,000 feet south of 1415 Woodstock Road in Woodstock is expected to begin on or about Tuesday, Oct. 25. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by early 2017.

During the project, Woodstock Road at the construction site will be closed to thru traffic. Motorists will follow a clearly marked detour using Granite Road, Marriottsville Road and MD 99. Signs will be in place to instruct motorists of the detour. Additionally, a recorded message at 410-313-3639 will carry project details and updates.
