1. Draw Superhero Comic Books

  • When/Where: , 9833 Greenside Dr, at 7 p.m. Thursday
  • Why Go: Come to Cockeysville Library and learn how to draw your own superhero and write a comic book. Event is for teens ages 11-17. Registration is required. Please call the library for more information.
  • Pricing: Free

2. Friday Preschool Story Time

  • When/Where: 1110 Eastern Blvd. at 11 a.m. on Friday
  • Why Go: Weekly library presentation featuring stories, songs and activities for children ages 2 to 5. Adults must accompany children.
  • Pricing: Free        

3.  U.K. Petite Soccer

  • Where/When: 2200 W Joppa Rd. (Valley Presbyterian Church) in Lutherville at 9 a.m.  (ages 2-3) and 10 a.m. (ages 3-5) on Friday.
  • Why Go: A fun introduction to soccer for children aged 2-5 years old. A "game-based" approach to coaching soccer within a fun learning environment. programs run once a week for at least six weeks. Each weekly session is 60 minutes.
  • Pricing: $99

4. Aqua Ventures Undersea Journeys Photograph Show

  • Where/When: Saturday, Feb. 26 7:30 p.m. at Oregon Ridge Nature Center
  • Why Go: Explore underwater photos of the Chesapeake Bay and other locations.
  • Pricing: $10 for adults, $5 for kids

5. Brundibár: A Children’s Opera by Hans Krása

  • Where/When: 8100 Stevenson Rd. in Pikesville at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27
  • Why Go: This is a children's opera featuring members of the CAC and KSDS communities. Underwritten by Sandy Hittman and family, the songs will be sung in English. All are welcome.
  • Pricing: Free
