Essex Crime: 'Air Jordans' Stolen From Home

Police are searching for an unknown man that broke into a Middle River home to steal a pair of Nike “Air Jordan” sneakers.
According to police reports, the homeowner, a 45-year-old woman, heard a noise in her kitchen around 6 a.m. on Feb. 17 as she slept in her home, located on the 1000 block of Rohe Farm Lane.
When she walked into the kitchen, she told police she found a man holding the pair of sneakers in his hand before running out a rear, unlocked door.

No one was hurt during the burglary, the report continued.

Greenbank Road, 7200 block, between 3:15 and 6:45 p.m. Feb. 18: About $50 in quarters were stolen from the home after someone forced their way into the residence.
N. Marlyn Ave., 800 block, between 9 p.m. Feb. 17 and 9 a.m. Feb. 18: A shed lock was removed and the break lines to a motorcycle, which was located in the driveway, were cut. Total loss: $300.
Franklin Ave, 1000 block, between 10 a.m. Feb. 15 and 11:30 a.m. Feb. 16: A fire alarm speaker was stolen from an apartment. Total loss: $200.
Foxwood Lane, 1100 block, between 4:30 and 10:15 p.m. Feb. 14: A BMX bike was stolen after someone broke into a shed in the back of the home. Total loss: $70.
Holly Beach Road, 2700 block, between 6 p.m. Feb. 13 and 7:21 p.m. Feb. 14: About 48 feet of copper gutters and eight copper gutter brackets were stolen from a front yard of a home. Total loss: $40.
