Essex Crime: Wedding Ring Stolen on Christmas

Here are recent crimes reported to the Essex Precinct:

, unit block, between 4 p.m. Dec. 25 and 10:30 a.m. Dec. 26: Baseball cards, jewelry a wedding band, collectable coins and a safe were among the items stolen from the home. Total loss: $3,506.

, 200 block, between 11 p.m. Dec. 23 and 7 a.m. Dec. 24: Two wallets, an Xbox, six video games, a movie, two check cards and a book bag were stolen as the 39-year-old female victim slept. Total loss: $605.

Misty Meadow Court, unit block, between 3 p.m. Dec. 23 and 10:30 a.m. Dec.24: Forty MTA bus passes and a GPS were stolen from a car in the victim’s driveway. Total loss: $770.

Pulaski Highway, 12200 block, Dec. 23, 3 p.m.: A trot line winder and trot line —items utilized for crabbing — were stolen from the back yard of the home. Total loss: $1,200.
