Essex-Middle River Crime: Vet Clinic Burglarized

Pulaski Highway, 9700 block. Between 4 p.m., Oct. 5 and 7:20 a.m., Oct. 6. At Pulaski Veterinary Clinic, an intruder broke a side window and was injured. The intruder opened cabinets and went from room to room, but did not take anything.

Stemmers Run Road, 700 block. Between 2:34 a.m. and 3:15 a.m., Oct. 6. An intruder cut a lock on a fence and stole three spools of 10-gauge copper wire and two spools of eight-gauge copper wire.
Middle River and Pawnee roads. 12:45 a.m., Oct. 6. A man was struck in the head with a bat by one of two robbers. They took his wallet, which contained $60 cash. They also stole six cans of Natural Ice beer, which were recovered nearby.

Handsworth Place, 1200 block. 11:10 p.m., Oct. 6. A Pizza Hut delivery driver completed a delivery and walked toward his car. A robber then put a gun in his face and demanded money. The driver gave him $89 and the robber fled.
Clover Avenue, unit block. Between 1:30 a.m., Sept. 29 and 9 a.m., Oct. 5. About 200 feet of half-inch copper wire were stolen from a backyard.
