Senior forward Denesha Tatum scored 11 points and grabbed 23 rebounds as host-Kenwood topped archrival , 50-35, on Wednesday night in Essex.
Forward Alyn Sankar also was a presence inside for as she finished with 7 points and 11rebounds. Also for the Bluebirds (10-4), guard Cierra Wilson contributed 11 points, 2 assists, 5 steals and 8 rebounds while freshman Jalisa Poole contributed 14 points and 3 assists.
Kenwood next takes to the court at 7 p.m. Friday when it travels to Perry Hall.
