Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

  1.     Lunar Mini Golf

Where/When: White Marsh Mall; 8200 Perry Hall Blvd

  • Monday - Friday: 3  - 9 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
  • Sunday: Noon - 6 p.m.

Why go: Your kids will think the cool effect of black lights on their clothes and the golf course is a stroke of genius. Bring your own beanbag chair, velvet leopard poster and lava lamp to bring it all full circle.

Pricing: $8 per player, 5 years and younger is $6.

 2. Amped Up: The Final Frontier

Where/When 11600 Crossroads Circle, White Marsh at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday

Why Go: Children 4-12 years old will experience an interactive show about the sun, moon, stars and solar system. 

Pricing: $9.95

Where/When: Commodore Hall, 1909 Old Eastern Ave. from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday

Why go: They have 64 slots available for Downhilll Racing Stock Competition, which is $1 an entry. The die-cast must be a Hot Wheels Basic Blue Card die-cast and originally carded to participate.

Pricing: Admission is free

Where/When: CCBC Essex at 1 p.m. on March 5-6, 12-13, 19-20 (also at 4 p.m. on March 13)

Why go: The Children's Playhouse of Maryland presents Mulan, Jr., a play based on Disney's Mulan.

Pricing: Admission is $10. CCBC students, faculty and staff pay $8.

Where/When: Essex Library, 1110 Eastern Blvd. at 11 a.m. on Friday

Why go: For children age 2 to 5. All children must be accompanied by an adult to participate in stories, songs and activities .
