Kenwood Sports Science Students Ask the Experts
Youngsters receive opportunity to question, learn from professionals in sports-related fields.
The Sports Science Academy at offers students from across the county a chance to take courses in preparation for a sports-related career.
Those in the academy are interested in fields ranging from college athletic administration and physical therapy to health education and sports journalism.
As part of their studies, Kenwood teacher and magnet coordinator Jennifer Barrett invited several professionals in a sports-related field to speak to a group of about 40 students on Thursday morning at the Essex school.

Following a brief introduction, the students had a chance to speak with several of the professionals with hopes of gaining a better understanding of the sports professions.
