With five declared candidates, voters have plenty of options when it comes to deciding who will face Democratic Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger in the November general election.
The field for the Republican primary in the 2nd Congressional District race got more crowded last week when filed to run for the nomination.
There are now five Republicans vying for the right to challenge Democratic incumbent Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger in the November general election.
The other Republicans in the field include state and , a former aide to Rep. Andy Harris and lieutenant colonel in the Army. Vladimir Degen and Howard Orton are the other declared Republican candidates.
