Presidents Day: What's Open? What's Closed?

Presidents Day is on Monday, which means many people will be off of work.

Banks will be closed and there will be no mail delivery. In addition, Baltimore County Public Schools will be closed, as will county government offices and district and circuit courts will not be in session in observance of the holiday, according to a news release.

The county also reports in a release that local libraries and senior centers will be closed while CountyRide vans will not operate.

But the county wants the public to know that trash and recycling pick-ups will occur as scheduled and drop-off facilities will remain open for business.
