GAITHERSBURG, MD — The midday Pick 5 drawing on Oct. 14 may have produced a million-dollar win for a customer of Shady Grove Beer & Wine in Gaithersburg, the Maryland Lottery said in a news release.

The Montgomery County retailer sold 20 $1 straight-bet Pick 5 tickets for the Oct. 14 midday drawing that matched the winning number of 82466. Each of those tickets is a $50,000 winner, and if all 20 were purchased by the same person, the total prize is $1 million, making it the biggest win of the week.

As of Monday morning, none of those 20 Pick 5 prizes had been claimed, lottery officials said.
