2 Injured In Series Of Shootings In Montgomery County
Police are investigating after a series of shootings that happened within hours of each other, authorities said.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Authorities are investigating after two people were injured in a series of shootings in Montgomery County.
According to police, the first shooting happened shortly before 11:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 20500 block of Staffordshire Drive in Germantown. Police responded to the area after receiving a call about shots fired.
At least two vehicles and one home sustained damage. There were no reported victims or injuries.

The second shooting happened around 12:47 a.m. Wednesday in the 8000 block of Gramercy Boulevard in Derwood.
According to police, a man was getting out of his car when he was shot by an unknown assailant. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The final shooting occurred just after 1 a.m. in the area of Centerway Drive and Strawberry Knolls in Gaithersburg. According to police, a man was walking when he was struck by gunfire. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No suspect has been identified or located, police said.
The incidents remain under investigation.
