ABS Store Closed For Second Day Due To Staff Shortage
The King Farm store in Rockville is still open. The county expects the Walnut Hill store will reopen Friday.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — The Walnut Hill Alcohol and Beverage Service store was closed for the second consecutive day Thursday, due to a staffing shortage. The county did not say if the shortage was related to COVID-19.
The store is expected to reopen Friday, Jan. 7, the county said in a news release.
Shoppers who usually go to the Walnut Hill store can head over to the King Farm location, at 302 King Farm Blvd., Ste. 120 in Rockville. King Farm's hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The county said that shoppers should check the website before going to any of the stores.
